Brethren,
The time has come to make a commitment for attendance at a possible meeting in Philadelphia for March 2026. In order to book transportation and catering for the festive board, and consider any contributions we may ask of the Lodge, we need firmer numbers of attendees.
As noted previously, most or all of the costs for this trip will be borne by members and guests as out of pocket apart from your dues. A projection of costs are expected to be on the order of $1000 per attendee as an estimate (including bus transportation, food, festive board, Philly lodging). It is hard to predict exact costs at this stage per attendee as it depends on specific arrangements. Please be mindful of ALL possible costs when deciding commitment, including extra hotel stays or special transportation you may require.
In order to ensure the trip is viable, we need an up front commitment of at least 35 persons (members and guests) in attendance. We are asking a deposit of $150 per attendee (ie a member and his Lady would be a $300 deposit) to reserve a spot. Deposits are due by July 15, and can be made here.....
Please indicate if you plan/require a bus, or if you will make your own transportation arrangements.
Note, If we don't get 35 attendees by that date, we will need to cancel these plans and develop other plans (deposit would be refunded in that case). Additionally, if we get commitment to go, but not enough bus riders, we may cancel just the bus to manage costs. These plans are all contingent on enough commitment from our members.
We do have a block of rooms at the Notary Hotel for members convenience - or you may book your own room at the several hotels nearby. Your deposit above will be separate from any booking fees required for room reservations (but part of that total cost per attendee) and it is recommended you book at the same time as your deposit. You may book at the Notary here (first come first serve):

We understand the individual costs for this trip are high, but this is expected to be a very engaging and fun activity for all guests. The Masonic Temple in Philly is a venue like none other - a masonic bucket list item. We hope you are able to join is for this very special meeting!
We will update Brethren on the status at our July 19th meeting.
